Navodya Group Pvt. Ltd. : ER. Cem Lime Wash is a refined mineral lime wash coating formulated to provide a breathable, brilliant white, and naturally antiseptic surface for interior and exterior masonry walls.

What is ER Cem Lime Wash and How Does It Function?

ER Cem Lime Wash is manufactured from high-calcium slaked lime blended with mineral bonding agents and setting accelerators. Unlike traditional crude lime washes that rub off on clothes and wash away in rain, ER Cem Lime Wash forms a hard, durable bond with plaster and masonry.

It is naturally breathable, allowing moisture trapped inside masonry walls to escape without causing paint blistering. Its natural high alkalinity provides inherent antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it ideal for rural housing, boundary walls, warehouses, and basements.

Preparation & Application Instructions

Follow these steps for a long-lasting, bright white lime wash finish.

  • Surface Cleaning: Brush off loose dust, dirt, efflorescence, and moss. Pre-wet the wall thoroughly with clean water.
  • Water Ratio: Add 1 kg of ER Cem Lime Wash powder to 1.5 - 2.0 liters of clean water and stir thoroughly into a smooth slurry.
  • Slaking & Straining: Allow the slurry to rest for 15 minutes, then strain through a fine mesh or cloth to remove any coarse particles.
  • First Coat: Apply the first coat evenly with a whitewash brush or sprayer, working in consistent vertical strokes.
  • Second Coat: Allow 6 to 8 hours for the first coat to dry, then apply a second cross-coat for solid, opaque whiteness.

Non-Rubbing Formulation

Contains specialized mineral binders that prevent white powder from rubbing off onto clothes when brushed against.

Naturally Antiseptic

High natural pH prevents insect infestation, mildew, algae, and mold growth on boundary walls and outbuildings.
