Navodya Group Pvt. Ltd. : ER. Tiles Adhesive is a high-performance polymer-modified dry-set mortar engineered for fixing ceramic, vitrified, porcelain, and stone tiles securely to interior and exterior floors and walls.

What is ER Tiles Adhesive and Why Replace Traditional Mortar?

ER Tiles Adhesive is a pre-mixed, factory-controlled blend of high-strength Portland cement, graded silica sand, and specialized redispersible polymer binders. Requiring only clean water on site, it eliminates the guesswork and weak bonding common with traditional sand-cement mortar.

It provides exceptional slip resistance (non-sag) on vertical walls, long open time for comfortable tile alignment, and high tensile bond strength. This ensures heavy large-format tiles and dense vitrified tiles stay permanently anchored without hollow sounds or debonding.

Installation Guide for Tilers

Follow these professional installation steps for a hollow-free, permanent tile bond.

  • Substrate Check: Ensure the screed or plastered surface is fully cured, structurally sound, level, clean, and free from oil or dust.
  • Mixing: Add 20 kg of ER Tiles Adhesive to approx. 4.5 - 5.0 liters of clean water. Mix thoroughly with a mechanical mixer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Troweling: Spread adhesive over the substrate using the flat side of a trowel, then comb with a notched trowel (6 mm to 10 mm notches) at a 45° angle.
  • Tile Fixing: Place tiles firmly into the combed adhesive bed with a slight twisting motion to ensure 100% adhesive contact.
  • Tapping: Tap tiles gently with a rubber mallet to achieve uniform level. Check alignment within the 15-20 minute open time window.

Superior Non-Sag Grab

High initial green strength prevents heavy wall tiles from slipping downward, speeding up vertical cladding work.

Thin-Bed Site Efficiency

Requires a thin 3-6 mm bed compared to 20-30 mm mortar, drastically reducing structural dead weight and material handling.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tiles Adhesive

Yes. Our polymer-modified formula creates a powerful chemical and mechanical bond capable of securing dense, low-porosity vitrified tiles up to large architectural formats.

Yes. It can be applied over existing sound ceramic or terrazzo floors without demolishing the old tiles, saving considerable time and demolition mess.

For small tiles (up to 300x300 mm), use a 6x6 mm notched trowel. For larger tiles (600x600 mm and above), use an 8x8 mm or 10x10 mm notched trowel and butter the tile back.

Allow at least 24 hours of curing time for the adhesive bed to harden fully before proceeding with joint grouting.

Yes. ER Tiles Adhesive is engineered with flexible polymers that absorb outdoor thermal expansion, freeze-thaw cycles, and heavy monsoon rains.
